Collection of pictures from distributed customers


Transports Publics Genevois (TPG, Geneva Public Transport) operates most of the public transportation system in Geneva. TPG facilitate more than 200 million trips per year.


Within just a few months, several thousand TPG customers need to adopt the SwissPass as new travelcard. Customers need to provide a high-quality picture for their identification. To save costs and improve service, TPG has to collect pictures in digital format, through an efficient and customer-friendly system.


Visible Solutions developed a web application which allows TPG to send customers an SMS with a personalized link. The link directs to a mobile optimized webpage, where customers can upload a picture, directly from their Smartphone. The system is very user-friendly, does not require customers to download an application or create a user profile. Submitted pictures are manually or automatically processed for optimal compliance with TPG standards. An integrated call center interface facilitates customer relations and support.
